ONCE SAVED, SAVED FOREVER?

In a nutshell, this was a question that one of our Bible Student asked. Many people are confused about this subject as well.

ANSWER:. I have searched out scriptures today and going by these scriptures,  those People's  teachings are erroneous.  I will not debate here, but simply present the scriptures as given to us by inspiration of the Holy Spirit. (1) Hebrews 10:26-27 "For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries." ( 2) 1 Corinthians 10:12 " Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall."( 3) Hebrews 3:12" Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God."( 4) Hebrews 2:1-3  "Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it. For since the message declared by angels proved to be reliable, and every transgression or disobedience received a just retribution, how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was declared at first by the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard,(5) HEBREW 6:4-6 SAYS:For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt.( 6)Galatians 5:1-4"For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. Look: I, Paul, say to you that if you accept circumcision, Christ will be of no advantage to you. I testify again to every man who accepts circumcision that he is obligated to keep the whole law. You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace.(7)1 Timothy 4:1 "Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,"( 2 Peter 2:20-22 "For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them. What the true proverb says has happened to them: “The dog returns to its own vomit, and the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire.”(9) Hebrews10:26-31 "For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has spurned the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? For we know him who said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge his people.” ...(10)1 Corinthians 9:27 "But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified."(11) 1 John 3:6 "No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him."(12)  Revelations 2:4-5"But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent."(13) "Revelations 3:12 "I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown."(14) 2 Peter 3:17 "  You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability."(15) 2 Peter 1:10-12 Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to make your calling and election sure, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall. For in this way there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."(16)Galatians 4:4 "You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace."Scriptures have spoken and cannot be broken. (17)Acts 17:11  "Now the Bereans were more noble-minded than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true.(18) "Hebrews 12: 14  "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. (19)"Matthew 7:23 "And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  (20)"2 Timothy 2: 19 " Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity."
