4. Water Baptism and Salvation

Please note the following: To be born again is a spiritual event.  To be baptised is a physical event. God is a spirit and those that will worship God will do so in spirit and in truth. ~John 4:23-24  If you are baptised in water, but not born again, it will be like going to have a bath in the river. You would not be able to make heaven.  If you are baptised in water and not living a holy life believing that you are covered by the ceremony of baptism, you would not be able to make heaven. If you are born again, but could not go through baptism for one reason or the other – you would be able to make heaven if you are walking with God and in his revealed righteousness to you. The Word of God is so clear about the criteria for gaining eternal life or passing on to be with Jesus Christ/making heaven. Acknowledging; repentance; forgiveness; acceptance.
