THE TWO FISHES AND THE BEAUTIFUL LOOKING PITCHER Two fishes were swimming when they saw a piece of meat dangling before them. The younger fish darted toward it with an open mouth. The older fish cried out, “Stop! You can’t see it, but there is a hook inside that meat. It is connected by an invisible line to a pole outside the water. There is a man holding the pole. If you eat the meat, the hook will catch in your jaw and the man will pull you out of the water. He will cut you open with a knife, roast you on a fire and eat you. Then he will throw your remains to his cat.” The young fish stopped. The two of them swam away. But when the young fish was alone, he thought to himself, “Let me investigate for myself how accurate these claims are.” He went back to the meat, swam around it, above and below it. He swam as far as he could in widening circles around the meat. After a long search, he said to himself, “I’ve looked far and wide, and I haven’t found any sign of a man, a pole, a knife, a fire or a cat. In fact, I’ve found no trace of anything outside this water we live in. These must just be stories.”
He went back to the meat and ate it. The hook caught in his jaw, he felt himself being yanked out of the water. He saw a pole, a man and a knife, but at that point his knowledge was useless. So is the message of the Holy Bible. Some of it is beyond our comprehension. We will realize its reality only when death strikes. May God let us heed to the truth in John 3:3-7, whilst it is useful to us men. Listen, “Before every man, there lies a wide and pleasant road that seems right, but ends in death” Proverbs 14:12. Jesus Christ also referred to this way when he said “ The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide enough for all the multitudes who choose its easy way, but the Gateway to Life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it.” Matthew 7:13. It is very important that we find and walk in the pathway of LIFE.
Do you feel like you are swimmIng in the ocean of sin? Living contrary to the commandments and will of God? – It might be right to say that, you are living in darkness, and treading on thin ice, living on the very edge of eternal destruction. God has made His mind clear to us in His written Word “The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Roman 6:23. It is however not too late, as long as you are still living in this world. You can make a U-turn right now and choose Eternal Life. God will abundantly pardon. The promise: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us of all unrighteousness”1 John 1:9.
“Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. though they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.” Isaiah 1:18-19. ================================

I believe you died for me and you rose again. I ask you to come into my heart and give me a new heart of righteousness. Forgive me all my sins. I renounce satan and every works of darkness in my life. Grant me Eternal Life. I receive the gift of eternal life today. I choose to follow your ways. Give me the power to Live as a child of God (John 1:12) Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus for saving me. Amen.
