17. WINNING IN THE BATTLE OF YOUR MIND

No one except you can fight and win the battle of the mind. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; Meditate upon and study this scripture and make up your mind that you are going to put it into practice. The Bible says that your life is shaped by your thoughts. The psalmist prayed: Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things and revive me in your way ~ Psalm 119:37. Psalm 119:9 says: How can a young man stay pure? By reading your Word and following its rules. I have tried my best to find you, don't let me wander off from your instructions. I have thought much about your words and stored them in my heart so that they would hold me back from sin." This scripture is clear: You must read and meditate upon the word of God for cleansing and purification. Allow your mind be renewed by the Word of God. It takes discipline and practice. SET THE IMMIGRATION CONTROL AT THE BOARDERS OF YOUR THOUGHT LIFE. With time, and God’s grace, you can change the way you think, and overcome temptation. Finally, Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Pray always in the spirit. Jude 20 and Give yourselves to fasting and prayers. Mark 9:29
